Jeremiah C. La’Porte
Founder & Executive Director
“My goal and the goal of the Network has and will always be to amplify resources for youth who are looking to advance their lives in both a professional and personal way. When the Network launched it was our motto that this would be a platform that inspired change.”
Our Mission…
Our organization is dedicated to advancing health, wellness, and higher education for young adolescents and teens across New Jersey. We strive to create impactful spaces and run dynamic programs and initiatives for youth, both independently and in collaboration with local organizations, networks, and government agencies. Our mission is to foster growth and expand access to essential resources throughout the state.
Our core focuses include; civic engagement in youth, mental health support, workforce preparedness, leadership development, and high education support.
Our History…
The Network was established by Jeremiah C. La’Porte, a committed public servant and author. After being sexually assaulted at gunpoint in 2020, Jeremiah seen firsthand the lack of resources and support for young survivors and those dealing with mental health hardships. Driven by a belief in the insufficient accessibility and visibility of resources for young adolescents seeking higher education and health and wellness support, he set out to address these critical gaps.
The Network was founded in 2023 with the purpose of pulling together resources for health and wellness that can be easily and freely accessible when needed. While also working to close the educational gaps that allow for the stigmatism of mental health and build support for survivors of sexual assualt.
