Founder & President
“My goal and the goal of the Network has and will always be to amplify resources for youth who are looking to advance their lives in both a professional and personal way. When the Network launched it was our motto that this would be a platform that inspired change.”
Our Mission…
The House of Hearts Network is bound to its mission of creating a platform built to inspire change. Through our key pillars of; higher education access, health and wellness resource development, youth leadership and civic engagement, and workforce development. Advancing opportunities and resource accessibility for all young adults in New Jersey.
Our History…
The Foundation was founded by Jeremiah C. La’Porte, a committed public servant and author whose academic, professional, and community-based work informed the organization’s mission and vision. While a student in 2022, Jeremiah identified critical gaps in access to coordinated health, wellness, and educational resources for young people—particularly those navigating mental health challenges.
Motivated by the need to improve accessibility, reduce stigma, and strengthen outcomes for young adolescents, Jeremiah established the Foundation to serve as a trusted hub for support, information, and opportunity. The organization prioritizes dignity, equity, and empowerment in its youth-centered approach.
Formally launched in 2023, the Foundation works to centralize and expand access to free, easy-to-navigate health and wellness resources while addressing educational gaps that impact long-term success. By fostering awareness, reducing stigma, and connecting young people to critical supports, the Foundation helps ensure youth are equipped not only to navigate challenges, but to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
